Today I wanted to tell you all about something really fun that my Mum and I did the other day! We had afternoon tea in Panoramic 34 in Liverpool!
This was my birthday treat for my Mum and I’m so glad I picked it because we had such a lovely afternoon there!
For those of you that don’t know, Panoramic 34 is a restaurant on the 34th Floor of West Tower in Liverpool and has amazing panoramic views across the city!
This was our first time going so I wasn’t really sure what to expect and I was a bit nervous about booking it as my Mum’s present because if we didn’t enjoy it then I’d feel bad for buying her a rubbish present…
But I didn’t have to worry because like I said we had an amazing afternoon! The view was awesome, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive and most importantly the food was DELICIOUS!
We picked the standard Afternoon Tea because that was the one we liked the sound of most, it was a bit early for the glasses of wine that came with the other teas because we still had lots to do in Liverpool that afternoon.
With the standard afternoon tea we got 2 pots of tea which was enough for 4 cups each, they did ask us if we wanted more tea but 4 cups each was plenty!
To eat we had:
Handmade Finger Sandwiches:
- Ham, Tomato & Black Pepper Mayonnaise
- Pastrami, Gherkins & Horseradish
- Curried Egg Mayonnaise
- Salmon & Cress (with something else but I can’t read the writing on my notes and I can’t remember what it is!)
Then we had:
- Buttermilk & Sultana Scones served with homemade jam and cream.
- Chocolate Delice with Caramel
- Strawberry Tart
- Pina Colada Macaroon
It was all so delicious! The Salmon sandwiches were my favourite sandwiches and the Pina Colada macaroons were my favourite desert! They actually tasted like Pina Colada it was awesome! I genuinely loved it all though!
Altogether it cost £20 each £40 total which I think is amazing value when you consider the spectacular views, the delicious top quality food and how friendly and attentive the staff were!
They have other Afternoon Tea’s available including one for Kids which I think sounds super cute! They kindly gave a copy of the afternoon tea menu to keep so I’ve scanned it so that you can all check it out!
If you’d like to check out the rest of Panoramic 34’s menu and find out a bit more about the restaurant then head on over to Panoramic34.com!
I wasn’t paid by Panoramic 34 to write this post, nor were we given anything for free, this isn’t a sponsored post I just wanted to write about it because we had such an amazing time and I wanted you guys to hear all about it so that if you wanted to go for Afternoon Tea in Liverpool you’d know where the best place to go was!
I’d just like to take a second to thank Panoramic 34 for looking after my Mum and I so well, we had a really lovely time and we’ll definitely be back for tea again soon! 🙂
