Hello Everyone!

This post is the third part of my new poetry series “K.” If you haven’t read part one or two yet you can find links to them at the bottom of this post..

Why is it called K? Maybe it’s his initial, maybe it’s the last thing he ever said to me, maybe it’s both, maybe it’s neither.

Part Three is called Twelve Years Old

I’d just woken up and there you were
In the living room with your gorgeous hair
I ran outside in embarrassment
And hid myself in the little play tent
You came outside with a cup of tea
And sat down in the tent with me
Your Dad had dropped you off to play
You were here to hang out all day
We talked and laughed as the sun came up
I sat and drank that very first cup.
