I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to Talia Joy Castellano for being such an amazing, incredible, beautiful, courageous, strong little lady and for brightening up the world with her amazing spirit and infectious smile even if it was just for 13 short years.
I’m sure you’ve all heard by now that on the 16th July 2013 Talia passed away after a six year long battle with Cancer she was only 13 years old.
I’ve been subscribed to Talia’s YouTube Channel for as long as I can remember! As a beautician I was and indeed still am in awe of her incredible make-up skills, especially given her age! As a person though I was and still am in awe of her ability to stay upbeat and positive even though she was dealing with terminal cancer.
Frankly it puts me to shame when I think about how badly I deal with some of the bigger problems in my life and how long I’ve been battling depression, my stuff is nothing compared to terminal cancer and yet sometimes I find it hard to smile. Talia was amazing, still is amazing.
I just.. oh man I just wish she was still alive, that she could’ve beaten the cancer. She had so much potential and she was just so young. It’s heartbreaking.
Not only do I want to thank Talia for being amazing and inspirational I also want to thank her for educating people about childhood cancer, about Neuroblastoma and Leukaemia and the importance of giving blood and fund-raising for cancer.
I can’t do Talia justice with my words so I’m going to stop writing now, here’s a link to Talia’s YouTube channel, if you don’t know about Talia go and watch her videos, I guarantee she’ll brighten your day.
Rest In Paradise Talia! xo
