Charities We’re Supporting In 2017!

If you’d prefer to listen to the audio version of my Charities Page then you can do so by using the SoundCloud Player at the bottom of the post or by subscribing on iTunes here!

Hello Everyone!

In 2017 I want to use my blog to do a lot more to help charities. I have a great platform here and I am blessed to have as many readers as I do and so I think in 2017 we should maximise on that and do the best that we can to help others!

I’m still coming up with ideas for things that we can do so I thought whilst I am coming up with ideas I would do two things…

The first is to create this page that you are currently reading on which I have provided links to 3 charities that I would most like to support right now, so that if any of you are in a position to do so and would like to donate directly to them you can.

The three charities are:

Stick ‘n’ Step – This is a charity that is based in North West England that helps children that are suffering with Cerebral Palsy. The work that they do gives people the skills that they need to manage their disability so that they can live more independent lives.

It’s a truly amazing charity and one that is close to my heart and the heart of my family, it is a charity that my Grandparents have raised over £20,000 for and with my Grandad passing away in 2016 I wanted to remember him this year by supporting a charity that he supported.

The work that they do is so important and I firmly believe that everybody no matter what their disability may be deserves every chance in life and so helping a charity that will help them get the chances they deserve really matters.

If you’d like to donate to Stick ‘n’ Step, then please click here to be redirected to their website where you can donate to them directly.

The Alzheimer’s Society – This is a charity that was set up to help people with Dementia stay connected to their lives and the people in them

It is a charity that is close to my heart because as many of you know I am currently going through the process of saying the long goodbye with my other Grandfather who has been suffering with Dementia for over 7 years now.

Going through the process of saying the long goodbye and watching my Grandfather fade away with Alzheimer’s has been excruciating and something I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. Any charity that can help ease the process in anyway for anybody deserves support.

If you’d like to donate to The Alzheimer’s Society, then please click here to be redirected to their website where you can donate to them directly.

Save The Children – This is a charity that helps children all around the world get the start that they need in life no matter what troubles they face.

I have chosen to support this charity because of the work that they are currently doing in Syria helping to provide food, hospitals and other vital services for children. I believe that adults and the older generations are the problem in this world and it’s vitally important to help the next generations so that history doesn’t continue to repeat itself time and again.

The second thing I have done is create a form which you should see below this paragraph that you can fill and submit any fundraising ideas or other ideas for how we can help charities together!

I don’t want to come across like I am preaching or forcing anybody to be charitable, if you want to help and you can help then that is fantastic but if for any reason, you don’t want to help or aren’t in a position to help then that’s also okay.

I will update this page regularly with any fundraising ideas and any other information or updates that I have!

Take Care,

Charlotte xo
